In our ongoing Meet the Team feature, we put a name and a face on the amazing members of our team. Today we would like to introduce Silveus Insurance Group (Silveus) Agent Brent Clark.
Where is your hometown and did you grow up around farming?
I grew up in Dumas, Texas, farming corn, cotton and wheat with my dad, two uncles and cousin Gordon Clark. My uncles have since passed away but my dad still farms. Now my daughter and son-in-law work on the family farm with me as well.
What are your clients asking you about today?
My clients are always asking me how to best manage their risk so they can run the most profitable operations possible.
What is your approach to customer service?
To provide a total risk management solution, in addition to Silveus Insurance Group we introduce our clients to our affiliated company Silveus Financial. We’ve had customers leave the ag industry then contact us when they come back, requesting to sign up again. It says a lot when customers reach out again, it tells me we’re doing a lot of things right and that we’re serving customers well.
How long have you been working at Silveus and what do you like best about your job?
I’ve been with Silveus for 10 years and have been working with clients in the Panhandle of Texas as well as Georgia and Kansas. I am proud to be part of this exceptional team and know that everyone has each other’s best interests at heart. We all keep our clients top-of-mind, striving to over deliver every chance we get.
What is one fun fact about yourself your co-workers don’t know?
When I’m not farming or selling insurance I like to relax by going to my daughter’s lake house. We like to fish a little, inner tube and waterski.
