Matt Dick grew up on a small farm in northern Indiana and graduated from High School in 1989. He graduated from Grace College in 1994 with a degree in Business Education. In college he was Captain of the Golf Team and played basketball for two years. He was a Student Assistant Coach with the Men’s Basketball Program for his final two years and Head Coach of the Men’s Golf Program for one year.
Upon completion of his degree in 1994 he took a job with L.M. Berry Company in Sales and Marketing as a Premise Account Executive. In 2000, after six successful years at L.M. Berry, he went to work in the financial services industry with SYM Financial Corporation. In the two years spent in sales at SYM he was part of a team that grew the company from $200 million to over $450 million in assets under management. Iin the fall of 2002 began his career in the Crop Insurance Industry with the Silveus Insurance Group.
Matt is licensed to sell insurance in five states and works with over 100 clients across the Midwest. In the spring of 2000 he married his college sweetheart, Nicole Ryman. Matt and Nicole have three children, Madison, Kensington, and Jeremy, and attend Warsaw Community Church. When Matt is not spending time with his family you can find him in the woods, either pursuing whitetail deer in the fall or turkeys in the spring.
